How and Why it Works!
When placed on or near the body's Energy Centers (Chakras) you can expect:
COCCYX ROOT
When using the tuning fork on the energy areas of the coccyx and the root, issues related to the rectum, hips, legs, feet, base of spine, adrenals, hemorrhoids, weight problems, knee problems, constipation, sciatica, arthritis, and the elimination system can be addressed.
SACRAL SACRUM
When using the tuning fork on the energy areas of the sacral and sacrum, issues related to the kidneys, bladder, pelvic area, sex glands, reproductive system, impotence, frigidity, uterine problems, and stiff lower back can be addressed.
SOLAR PLEXUS LUMBAR
When using the tuning fork on the energy areas of the solar plexus and lumbar, issues related to the stomach, pancreas, spleen, liver, gallbladder, digestive system, ulcers, diabetes, hypoglycemia, digestive disorders, and gallstones can be addressed.
HEART THORACIC

When using the tuning fork on the energy areas of the throat and cervical areas, issues related to the throat, larynx, thyroid, para-thyroid, esophagus, neck and shoulders, auditory system, sore throat, stiff neck, and colds can be addressed.
BROW CRANIAL
When using the tuning fork on the energy areas of the brow and cranial, issues related to the brain, pituitary and pinial glands, nose, eyes, hypothalamus, nervous system, headaches, blurred vision, nightmares, and sinus problems can be addressed.
Sound Therapy is a series of frequencies and wave forms. We can describe all matter as organized by wave forms and frequencies. This includes our bodies.
Each organism has its own vibratory rate. Every object in the universe has its own unique resonant frequency. Tap a wineglass and it will emit a ringing sound determined by its size, shape and the thickness.
If one 'C' tuning fork is struck and placed next to another 'C' tuning fork, the second tuning fork will begin to resonate together with the first tuning fork. The sound wave from the first tuning fork has imparted some of its energy to the second one.
The body has specific frequencies for each gland, organ and system and subtle body. Each resonates at a certain frequency. The human body is made up of 70% water; this makes it a very good conductor of sound.
Every organ, every bone, every cell in the body has its own resonant frequency. Together they make up a composite frequency like the instruments of an orchestra. When one organ in the body is out of tune it will affect the whole body. Each must resonate at that certain frequency for health, balance and harmony with all other parts and within itself.
We might liken each frequency of that particular body part to a note a member of an orchestra would play. When all the notes coming forth from the orchestra flows together and works synergistically we have beautiful music. If they do not, what do we hear? A sour note.When the body part does not resonate appropriately, we might liken that to a sour note.
The gland, organ or system may begin to function at a low level causing functions to slow down or cease. Or perhaps the gland, Organ or system begins to hyperfunction, eventually leading to burnout and then the function slowing down or ceasing.
The orchestra may begin to sound like a series of discordant notes, with little harmony and certainly no enjoyment to the listener.
Sound therapy is like a person who retunes the instrument. As your parts are retuned and come back into harmony and balance, your internal orchestra begins to once again make beautiful music.
Your body is a marvelous creation. Given the right instructions It can correct itself and begin to resonate at the frequencies that create good health.
Entrainment
Nature seeks the most efficient state. We see the law of entrainment in action when birds fly together in migration; they will flap their wings together and glide at the same time to save energy. Women who work or live together will often find that their menstrual cycles will synchronize.
Itzhak Bentov illustrates this phenomenon in his book 'Stalking the Wild Pendulum'. If you place a number of grandfather clocks on a wall with pendulums all swinging at different rates within a few hours all the pendulums will be swinging at the same speed!
If you sing a strong clear harmonious sound to a person who is sick or out of balance their body will lock into your powerful healing sound. The principles of resonance and entrainment are both at work in a sound healing treatment.
Recent scientific research has identified specific sound frequencies, which relate to different parts of the body. Therapeutic application of the appropriate sound frequencies can help disorders in those parts of the body. So in this course we ill be focusing on healing the Chakra’s. When our Chakra’s are unbalanced and blocked we will tend to get sick emotional and physical.
